Sunday Caramel Corn

Growing up, Sundays were popcorn day.  We had an air popper and would make big batches (it had to feed 7 of us!).  Sometimes, we got treated to caramel corn.  That was what Sunday was! Even now, I have a hard time making caramel corn (and regular air pop) on any other day.  I usually get over it and make it anyway!  There is just something special about it!  Nothing compares to this recipe! Not only that, it literally takes 5 minutes.  No thermometer to make sure the caramel gets to a certain temperature or some weird step you have to take.  Boil, stir, add, pour.  That’s it!  Enjoy!

Sunday Caramel Corn

  1. 1 cube butter
  2. 2 c. brown sugar
  3. 1 c. corn syrup
  4. 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  1. Bring butter, sugar,and syrup to boil.
  2. Once it is boiling, add the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Stir. Pour over popped popcorn.
